Junior software Developer position
I'd like some feedback on this.
I did an interview a week ago for a Junior software developer position at Jonar, an ERP & EDI Software company based in Montreal.
The interview went well, i had a good feeling leaving.
First part of the interview was with the HR coordinator and the chief of staff. I was prepared for a technical interview but i got no technical questions. It was mostly behavioral questions and questions on my past experiences.
I have no prior experience as a developer. I study economics at the University of Montreal and did a coding bootcamp 6 months ago.
I also founded an Edtech start-up 3 years ago, which failed earlier this year.
During the interview, I also spoke with the product manager & product owner. They both did not asked any technical questions and I felt like i answer their behavioral questions really well.
Although i though i connected well with the HR coordinator and the chief of staff, i am not sure if i should send a follow-up email or not. It's been a week and i did not heard from them.
Should i wait or send a note? Any advice ? Anybody experienced this before?
