Interview Preparation Grid


Forum Post 4 Answers Interview Preparation Grid

I'm reading Cracking the Coding Interveiw 5Ed and it talks about "interview preparation grid" but never defines it. It is mentioned on the interview preparation "map", and a behavioral preparation grid example is given (but not defined) later on. So we have a grid within a map but what is that grid (page 8 it is mentioned)?. The web talks about I think technical preparation grid which is even a further concept not mentioned. Where are these things defined. Thanks.

I face the same question! Where is this preparation grid? That was the reason I came to this website.

It is on page 172. It is simply a matrix where the first column contains the 5-7 key characteristics (i.e. leadership, influence, teamwork, success, challenges, mistakes/failures) and the next columns are projects/jobs where you had the experience that corresponds to the characteristics
