Binary representation of 0.1 = 000110001100011.... (Loss of precision)
Binary representation of 0.125 = 001 (can be represented accurately)

Maybe this is because of binary representation of floating point number. 0.125 = 2^(-3) and can be written without loss of precision.

In .NET it output 1 and 1... no idea...

It is and should be 1.0 only on any machine using any decent compiler. Else we could quit writing programs.
