The main difference between arrays and linked lists lies in the nature of memory allocation.
The size of an array needs to be provided at the time of array declaration.
Linked lists, on the other hand, can be sized as per requirement and only use as much memory as allocated.

Pros of arrays:
Smaller in size, faster element look-up
Size is immutable once declared, this can lead to wastage of memory or shortage of memory in some cases.

Pros of linked lists:
Flexibility in addition and deletion of elements
Cons of linked lists:
Slow element lookup (O(n) if nth element in the list needs to be looked up)
