test case on cup handle:
1.Not too thin Nor too thick
reason-->if is too thin then center of mass of cup should be far from finger(Unstable equilibrium) & Not to thick (since it should be handy);

2.Gap in the handle (optimum).

3.curvature of handle should be curve (no square....) --->easy to handle.

Test case on cup:

1.How much temp. it can withstand.

2.Interior color-->like if it is black(absorption of Heat energy so coffee will become cold readily).

3.Shape of cup-->if(circular) then (while drinking it will not spill out)...other shape like (square
may result in spilling)

4.weight of coffee cup-->(optimum(acc to its capacity))

Like...!!!
Even though I do not agree with the 3rd case for the cup. The cup can be square and could still avoid spilling...it depends i=on the user...!!!

@p....In (Square) case mouth(lower lips) will be in more touch with cup than in Circular(shape) cup...so more Reaction(N) force will be on lips...so chance of splilling is more in square.....

1.pour very hot water /coffee and check whether it can withstand high temp,
2.pour cold water/ice and check whether it withstand cold temp
3.pour coffee to check whether there is no leakage
4.drop it from a reasonable height and check whether it breaks\
compatitbility test of handle

I don't think 1. and 2. are handle tests - they belong in the Cup test suite.

Will the handle stay on when the cup is full of water? Sugar? Milk?

I addition, I'd perform usability tests: When the cup is full of hot water, can it be carried by the handle without burning the hand? Can it be carried easily if there are other cups to carry?

another usability test for the cup itself would be consider its *color* and decorations (if any): I personally do not like if a cup is black inside as you never know when you tea is ready ))
