may be because basic data types are not treated as objects by default(there are wrapper classes)
not sure i guess in c# all data types are objects

Because we will use procedures(eg:public static void main()) in java!!

it doesnt support mulitiple inheritence and primitive data types were not treated as objects

no .Java is purely object oriented language
