only stack,PC and registers are saved in a thread context switch..

In context Switch PC (Programme counter value store in stack), also value of CPSR(current programme Status Register) copy to SPSR(Saved programme Store Register).

What about heap?
If a thread allocates some memory from heap, what happens to it?

Threads don't have heap of their own. They share a common one with the parent process. Hence we need not save the heap during a thread context switch. It will do that if it's a process context switch.
