No.

Because 'a' is an address. However, if the program was:

int a[10];
int *ptr;
ptr=&a;
ptr = ptr + 1;

Then the program would have been correct.

'a' is an address of array on stack which is a constant pointer. Thats why it is not a correct.

The answer is simply No but the actual reason is array is non-modifiable l-value.So, we can't change its value.

Base address of array if fixed and cant be resized.
So its wrong.
Instead we can have pointer and do manipulation on that pointer.

yes the above given is valid in C. It will point to next member in array.
