MVC is an architectural pattern for your presentation layer
Factory pattern is a creational design pattern to instantiate objects of a certain type.

So, in Factory pattern, object gets created based on dynamic check... right?
Such dynamic check could also be performed in MVC and objects created. So, what is the uniqueness of factory design pattern?

MVC --> Model View Controller is a software architecture pattern

Suppose if we take java (JSP,JSF --> View, Beans --> Model, Controller --> Servlets)

Factory --> Is a Creational pattern which is used for creating a family of objects which are realted(Generally in factory we expose methods get************ or create********) related to each object createX, createY,.................) but once again these should belong to same family. That is ur design dependent how u classify.
