Amazon Interview Question
Development Support EngineersHi,
I'm expecting an interview for this position this week. can you give me more details about the interview? how was the technical interview?
how was the phone screen? was it technical or non-technical?
appreciate your help,
thanks
hello vgurusa,
The phone interviews of Amazon, are generally technical and would want to see the approach that you take for the problem given.(I can tell you more about the phone interview, as I have already faced one so far)
you are generally asked questions on Object oriented design (i.e.design the classes for an airline reservation, zoo(imaginary)).
Their work is on Java, Unix/Linux platform and Perl. You may want to get familiarized with the Unix commands. Most of their questions are easily solvable using a single Unix command,e.g. grep
You will definitely be asked one coding question, so keep a pen and a paper and you will have to exactly read out (line by line, including commas and semicolon) what code you have written for the question asked. Thanks
If any one had interview the same group tell me how it went.
