There are three general reasons for out of memory
- Vineet August 12, 2021- not able to create new threads since the OS memory and heap memory size are not able to handle the load. In general, this leads to correcting the VM memory size and/or heap memory size
- not able to allocate memory for object instantiation. This requires much deeper analysis to figure out which object is causing the memory leak. In general the approach is to get the heap dump and analyze it further.
- framework level issue. This is not easy to debug directly. Its better to first confirm if this is happening continuously and try tweeking other params like memory etc to mitigate the problem. If the problem still persists try both heap dump and thread dump to dig deeper.
