Maybe someone could come up with a more optimized solution here.

- Greed solution won't return the optimal result
- Try every 2 set combination and return the best combination?

Anyone have ideas/hints on this?

what's the goal? maximize the amount of days the rooms are booked? Minimize the number of rejected bookings? Can we assume, there are more bookings then we can serve with the two rooms? Can we further assume we have all bookings at hand and can accept and deny them?
Anyway, if there are only 10 upcoming bookings it's 2^10 = 1024 options, which I would just implement using brute force and maximize the solution on whatever the question is supposed to maximize it on.
