Move mre.set(); into the lock block

Change

if (queue.Count == 0) mre.WaitOne();

to

while (queue.Count == 0) mre.WaitOne();

why do we need while? doesnt waitOne blocks until the producer sets mre again?

your java code has syntax errors but i agree with Manoj that you need a while loop or some kind of notify when queue resouces are available again. the error that they gave you should be a clue that the if statement is not looping to check if queue has some resources again.

ans is ManualResetEvent is used it will allow all the waiting threads to be revoked and thus if two thread access teh queue and one will win and other will have a dequeue error. to avaoid this before aquiring the lock just check for queue count :)

Despite the changes suggested, i think we should unlock after enquing the queue and upon deque.
Any thoughts , or am i missing something tat unlock is being handled internally somehow?
