dont need to execute such a long command. just do 'rm ./~'

you can also do (in single quotes):

rm '~'

which prevents the shell from expanding ~ to your homedir

Using Inode we can delete "~" file.
Here "~" is not a home directory.

find . -inum [inode-number] -exec rm -fi {} \;

what is the logic behind asking such stupid questions. how many times we need to execute such type of commands.
