1. Start it from a terminal and reproduce the condition which makes the browser crash. The console output should/may show the reason why.
2. If #1 doesn't help much, big guns -> strace. strace is extremely verbose but can provide pointers on what went wrong, provided you know how to understand the output.

Use Dtrace to setup probes on entry, return for the function that crashed. If it is memory related crash then turn on Malloc debugging using malloc_history, vmmap, heap.

I think you cannot use terminal to debug. Because browser crash only in its process, terminal cannot see the memory records in the crashed browser process.
