assumption: wanted is the successor of a node and it's a binary search tree, whose
inorder traversal would lead to a increasing sequence like the sample
(thus left node <= this <= right).

class Node
{
	Node *parent = nullptr;
	Node *left = nullptr;
	Node *right = nullptr;
	char value;

	Node* next() // = sucessor
	{
		if(right != nullptr) return right->min();
		Node *c = this;
		while(c->parent != nullptr && c->parent->left != c) c = c->parent;
		return c->parent; // may be nullptr, if there is none
	}

	Node* min()
	{
		Node* c = this;
		while(c->left != nullptr) c = c->left;
		return c;
	}
}

Its simple!!

Let the starting node be start.

1. Go to the next right node of start. Let the node be right_node
2. Go to the extreme left node of right_node. Let this node be extreme_left

Thus this extreme_left node is the inorder successor of start.
