a) Firstly I will try to click elsewhere other than the player to see that my mouse is still connected
b )Then I will check whether my Player has hanged by checking the task manager, which will tell you whether the running application is not responding or running.
c) If the application was hanged that means either the player has an issue or the downloaded song file might be corrupt to trigger such behavior of the player. But this is still an early conclusion and hence I will always check event logs if there was anything wrong with my computer after I downloaded the file.
d) Lastly I will kill the music player process from Task manager and replay the player with same song to re-validate and minimize all the probable cause identified so far.
