Approach 1. Count frequency of words in one pass. Store them in a hashmap. In the second pass find out the longest unique word using the hashmap. Assuming constant time map operations, complexity is O( |S| ), where |S| is the sum of the word lengths.

Approach 2. Can be done using a suffix trie. Order O( |S| ).

Have to check each and every word first of all.
parse eah word alongwith its count of letters and occurance by using hashmap(any DS).
Sort the DS objects according to no. of letters.
find the one that occurs only once.
