2. Members of an Interface are public. Abstract can have members as private, protected.
3. An Interface can be implemented using the keyword “implements” and an abstract class can be extended using the keyword “extends”.
An abstract class may provide implementation of some or all methods and any class extending the abstract has to implement the methods which the abstract class does not.
An interface however does not provide implementation of its methods and any class implementing the interface has to implement all methods declared in the interface
An abstract class is defined by using the keyword abstract and methods without body in it are defined by using abstract keyword in front of the method. Any base class extending the abstract class has to implement this method.
In interface all methods are supposed to be abstract and all methods have to be implemented by the class implementing the interface.
The basic idea for using interfaces is you have to adhere to the policy that the subclasses have to implement the policy that all classes have to contain and implement the methods declared in the interface. This way there is no chance of any codes being out of line in teams using the code.
