Security Test Cases :-
1) Testing the tip of the pen against different surfaces to check whether it can be harmful to the skin/body part if pinned by force by mistake.
2) Test whether the body of the pen is made of shock/static proof material.
3) Shake the pen well and then try to write.
4) Put the pen in a contact with a surface where it can possibly leak and see whether the ink is leaked or not.
5) Put the pen in the reverse direction for a while and then try to write.

Functional test Cases :-
1) test whether the pen can be used to write on different surfaces or not.
2) Check whether pen is properly open/closed or not.
3) Check whether the pen writes with equal intensity on each surface or not.
4) Check whether the writings made by the pen is of good readable form or not.
5) Test whether pen works with all the different kind of inks it supports.
6) Test whether the pen works well with a refilled ink or not.

Stress/Preformance Test Cases :-
1)Try to open/close the pen multiple times in quick succession and then try to write with it.
2) Try to write with a pen constantly for a long time.
3) Write no. of times ( lets say 100 times ) on 5 different surfaces and test the efficiency of the nib after that.

1. open the cap
2. write is slowly
3. Write it fast
4. Drop from height
5. Drop it with the nib in front.
6. shake it well and then try to write

i am applying for jobs and all....actually i would want to be in development but i am interested in testing Q/A..never knew that there can be soooo much to think abt writing test cases...hardik..very good..a very neat way of explaining.

Functionality:
1. using the pen - clarity
2. On diff kinds of paper
3. Clicking functionality works fine?
4. Does it work inverted/other angles
5. Works in space?


Safety:
1. Check if its safe (sharp nib)
2. Ink is non toxic
3. Easily earsible
4. Paint on pen is non toxic

Usability:
1. Ink leak?
2. Smooth surface/Comfortable
3. Damage the paper?

Stress:
1. Writing for long hours
2. Pressing the pen really hard

Low Resource:
1. Operation under low ink conditions
2. Work in high pressure
3. Colh hot room

Robustness:
1. Write really fast
2. Dropping the pen from a height
3. On rough surface
4. Dropped in water

Configuration:
1. Ink/refil from another vendor

Efficiency:
1. How many miles can it write in 1 refil

Accessibility:
1. Provisions for disabled/Children
