size of the base class is '4' bytes...
size of the derived class is '8' bytes.. bcoz derived class inherited the base class..

Size is platform dependent and depends on sizeof(int). Your answer is for x86 only.

x86 or x64 it doesn't really mean much. It is all about the data model used. LLP64, LP64 etc etc look it up.
