this might be selective acknowldement. in networking terminology.
there are two models for acknowlging in layer two protocols of network,
one is cummulative ack, second is selective ack.
let me know if I m not correct

sack looks like selective - ack. Its a thing followed in connection oriented protocols, so like in a flavor of tcp in transport later u might use selective ack as opposed collective ack. For more techi stuff u could read n/w book kurose etc
