Are the squares the same size? What are the dimension and size are the squares? What is the size and dimension of the screen? Are the squares fixed size or do they flutate in size? What is the ratio of the squares? Do the squares stay on the screen or can they hide or disappear from the screen? If we make the assumption that the squares are confined within the screen and the screen is also a square, and both squares are the exact same size, and the length of one side of one of the squares are greater than 1/2 the width size of the screen, then the squares will definitely cross each other on the screen.
