Project Details – Aviva is one of Insurance providers in Europe. Wipro is one of the strategic service partners of Aviva to enhance its application portfolio.
Common Portals consists of Customer, Pension Tracker, Internal Portal, Scheme Payments and Production(Assyst) Fix Team.
Projects are executed by teams based at multiple locations (UK, Pune and Bangalore).
Defects and enhancement requests that are identified are delivered using the Maintenance Model.
Following activities are covered as part of development activities for a request assigned to the project. All phases may not necessarily be executed for all requests we would be working on.
1. Core Java and Web Development: Developing java application from scratch. Taking all responsibility to take story from start to end. Providing solutions to the problem statement and identifying the best solution to the problem.
2. Incident Management for Production: Preparation of Component Macro and Micro designs by developing process and procedure that meets Application standards
3. Problem Management: by identifying and logging root cause of problem and applying fix to root cause.
4. Build and Unit testing: Modifications in existing modules as per the requirement. Unit testing of the modifications made.
5. Application Documentation: Develop and maintain all documentation on Application systems
