Immutable object is an object which once created, it's content cannot be changed.
E.g. standard Java classes: String, Integer, Boolean, Character, Byte, Short, Long, Float, Double, BigDecimal, BigInteger.
Immutable objects are automatically thread safe.

Immutable objects in java can be created by making the class as final , setting all the fields as final and not providing the "setter" methods.

I also have a similar question. What is a Set data structure in JAVA? I don't understand what is the benefit of asking term and keyword questions. Is that for testing how fast we are googling?

Set data structure in JAVA is actually the implementation of Mathematical concept set which means a collection of objects with no duplicates
