What type of question is it?

XML has structure without format (thats where xsd comes in) while HTML has format without structure (that one reason why xhtml came about).

XML is used to define the structure of data while HTML is for how the content should look. i.e data storage/definition will be defined by XML and data presentation will be by HTML

is basically language for creating web pages
HTTP - Hyper Text Transfer Protocol
is a protocol used to send request and receive responses over the network.
