It all depends on what the app tries to accomplish and the target audience. An app with a poor User Interface that gets the job done in a fast manner may be good for some environments but unacceptable for others.
In my opinion, an app that balances performance, graphical design and it's useful could be the basis of a _good_ app. One that exceeds those areas and on top of that is made of a well structured and maintainable code, _great_ one.
A bad application is one which does not take proper care of :
1)memmory usage,
2)allocation and deallocation of resourse,
3)and where a non UI thread tries to access a UI toolkit.
also for example if we are desging a android based application and we try to call a "implicit intent" without checking getPackageManager().
A bad app is the same as a bad question as this one. A good app is it's opposite.
