Financial Software Developersin Solaris system, there are two types of folk() function, one of which could make child process get all threads of parent process.
However, for most OS, e.g. Linux... they don't support this mechanism. Instead, the "parent thread" that generated child process was obtained by child process, ignoring other threads in parent process.
