1. Make sure the USB ports on both the camera and computer are not dusty or dirty.
2. Make sure that the battery is fully charged.
3. Make sure that the USB cable is connected properly to the camera's and computer's USB port. (Note: USB hubs are not recommended for use.)
4. Make sure that the memory card is properly inserted into and read by the camera.
5. Check if the USB port is working by trying other USB devices.
6. Turn off the camera, remove the battery and allow it to rest for 30 seconds. Afterwards, reinsert the battery and attempt to establish connection.
7. Try to restart the computer.
8. Try another USB cable.

1. Check if the driver for your camera device is installed properly on machine.
2. Check system error messages if any logged after connecting the device.
3. Check cable, ports or hardware related issues if any.

1. Check whether the driver for your device is installed properly on machine
2. Check whether user has selected USB in the device to charge the device or transfer files, transfer photos(PTP), or use device as MIDI
3.Check cable,ports or hardware related issues if any

1.Check system error records.
2.Check if driver installed properly or not on the computer.
3.Try if the USB can working on camera and other devices
4.Try if the USB can working on other camera and the devices
5.Try another USB in the camera and devices, confirm if it working well

There are 3 components where we need to debug :
1. Computer
2. Camera
3. USB Cable

Computer :
1. Check for the ports. Maybe the port is not working. Try for other ports.
2. Check for the drivers installed. If not then install or if update is needed do that.
3. Restart the computer and try again.
4. If you have any other laptop/computer, try to connect other 2 components with it and check for connectivity.

USB cable :
1. Check whether both ends of the usb cable is properly connected to camera and computer.
2. USB cable should not be broken.
3. Try to attach any other usb cable with same 2 components to isolate the issue.

Camera :
1. Check whether camera port to which usb is installed is working or change the port.
2. Try to change the attached options from image transfer to any other and check connection.
3. Try to change the camera and keep other 2 components to isolate the issue.
4. Turn off the camera and restart it and check connection again.
