Wouldn't it actually be:
Destroying Derived
Destroying Base
The finalizer for the base class still gets called to do its cleanup, but it gets called after the derived class has done its cleanup if I recall correctly.
would have agreed, but tested it in code and original post is right. Only the Derived finalizer is called.
