My Answer is that in this do-while loop will go in indefinite loop as value of 'i' is not getting increment in case when 'a' or 'A' is encountered.. you guys can you figure out some other bugs ???

int tmpvar=len; Conversion from unsigned long to signed int. You will get negative values for large string. The return value conversion from signed int to unsigned int will be wrong for large strings. Also there is no check for pch == NULL.

if(*pch==NULL || !strcmp(pch," ")) is satisified the function immediately returns 0 and does not go in the do loop. Thus do loop is dead code which is never entered.

if (pch==NULL || *pch=='\0' || !strcmp(pch, " ")

} while ( i < tmpvar - 1 ) because the very last char should be '\0'
