OMG. How much time did they give? Did you give you C lang specification and formal grammar?

We can use some parser generator like Lex & Yacc OR JavaCC to generate a parser program for any given grammar. If it is allowed to use any of the available parser generators, this is very very simple job But writing parser code from scratch without help of any tool will not be easy which involves lexical analysis, syntax and semantic analysis (symbol table, parse tree etc)
