My solution is '60'; As he already said "There are 60 sailors in Galleon".

The 60 sailors are a part of the crew. So the solution is 90. How ?

Let there be x crew members which are not sailors. So number of crew member = sailor + x = 60 + x.
Now half again mean add half to (60 + x) to itself = (60 + x) + (30 + x/2) = 90 + 3x/2.

Hence 90 sailors

I've heard this before,it's part of a video game,i can't remember the answer though but i remember a clue,which is - The Sailor does not have a crew of 15 men.

The answer is 90 Sailors

60 Sailors + half the crew.

60 Sailors + 30 Sailors = 90 Sailors

Originally Spanish galleon used to have 180 men, out of which 50 were sailors. Half the crew means 25 sailors, total 85 sailors.....

210. There are 60 sailors on his galleon, and 150 on mine. :)
Unless the other half of his crew is also sailors, then *we* have 270.

But I still have more than he does. :)
